Nominations are closed for the 2024 Class of Fellows
WHO CAN BE A FELLOW
- Attorneys in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan
- Attorneys who have practiced law for 10 or more years
- Attorneys who have demonstrated professional excellence
- Attorneys dedicated to service in the community
The MSBF Board of Directors will occasionally invite individuals who are not attorneys to be an Honorary Fellow.
FELLOWS NOMINATIONS AND INVITATION PROCESS
The opportunity to join the Fellows Program is extended to a limited number of attorneys each year. The overall membership is limited to 5% of the State Bar of Michigan membership.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Fellows Nominating Committee and presented to the Foundation’s Board of Directors for final approval. In late June, nominees will be notified if they are invited to join the Fellows.
FELLOWS GIVING LEVELS
An invitation to join the Fellows Program is a meaningful recognition. Fellows accept this invitation by committing to one of the following giving levels:
- $10,000 ($1,000 annual pledge)
- $5,000 ($500 annual pledge)
- $2,500 ($250 annual pledge)
- $1,500 ($150 annual pledge)
Are you a Fellow Interested in nominating a colleague?
Active Fellows are encouraged to submit a nomination(s) of prominent attorneys, who exemplify professional excellence and service to the community. ONLY active Fellows are eligible to complete nomination form.
Are you interested in becoming a Fellow?
The Foundation has made provisions for interested attorneys, who meet the criteria to submit an application of interest. The application will be reviewed by the Fellows Nominating Committee.
