The Michigan State Bar Foundation has welcomed 29 lawyers to the Fellows Program. The members were nominated by their peers for their professional excellence and service to the community.
Fellows Chair, Hon. Victoria Roberts, welcomes and thanks the new Fellows, “Fellows are instrumental to the continued growth of the Michigan State Bar Foundation in realizing our vision for increased access to justice and improvement to the administration of justice.”
Established in 1984, the Fellows program recognizes distinguished lawyers and supports the Foundation in providing leadership and grants for improvements in the administration of justice, and delivery of civil legal aid to low-income households in Michigan. With nearly 1,500 active members, the fellows, through annual pledges have contributed over $2 million since its inception to support the Foundation’s leadership and grant programs.
The new Fellows were officially introduced during the 75th anniversary celebration of the Foundation at the Detroit Athletic Club by Fellows’ chairperson Hon. Victoria A. Roberts.
